Are you a rising star?
Then join us in bringing star power to Earth
Develop your career as a graduate trainee with UKAEA at Culham and play a vital part in creating cleaner energy for the future.
Bringing fusion to the power grid is one of the grand challenges of the 21st century. With global energy demand rising and concerns over climate change growing, nuclear fusion has the potential to provide a safe, carbon-free, virtually limitless energy source.
Our research programmes at Culham Centre for Fusion Energy offer exciting science and engineering challenges as we take fusion towards the power stations of tomorrow. We are also embarking on new projects to develop associated technologies in robotics and nuclear materials Ė see the Our Work page for more.
At the start of your career it is essential that you find the right employer and job to provide the challenges and rewards that fit your qualifications and personality. Our Graduate Development Programme aims at providing a solid launchpad for a career in science and engineering by giving you the skills and experience needed to maximise your potential. The two-year programme will introduce you to Culhamís main business activities and enable you to make a personal contribution to our continuing success.
We normally have a range of job opportunities available including a Culham Power Academy Scholarship. Please see http://www.ccfe.ac.uk/jobs.aspx for more information.
