Job description:
My job involves the design, manufacture and procurement of new components to be used as part of the neutral beam heating at JET. I spend most of my time on design and analysis, generating and running computer models of new or existing components.

Previous work experience:
I spent a summer working at JET as a student doing a similar job to what I do now. After graduating from university I applied for a job at JET and was accepted on the UKAEA graduate scheme.
Thoughts on the area:
I enjoy living in Oxford very much. It’s a very beautiful city with lots to offer, without being so big that it becomes a stressful environment.
